ASTM Level 3 (Fluid resistant) – Procedure masks which one used when performing patient procedures, or when patients are in isolation to protect them from potential contaminants. Fluid resistant of 160mmHg, protects wearer against large droplets, splashes or sprays of bodily or other hazardous fluids.

Degree of Protection is indicated by Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) ≥ 98% and Particulate Filtration Efficiency (PFE) ≥ 98%.

Delta P measures the air flow resistance of the procedure mask and is an objective measure of breathability.
